IDENTITY CRISIS is a presentation that reflects the current state of society. In a time when opinion has become the primary marker of identity, the “self” shifts from something lived to something performed. Identity is no longer rooted in experience, but constructed through expression, visibility, and opinions. Built through the core principles of upcycling, the garments become embodiments of these layered, constructed identities; assembled from what already exists, much like the selves they represent. Coming from two different worlds, Antonio Tadrissi and Diogo Snow are united by an outsider approach to craft; presenting a collection that critiques the state of society today.
